Newton also teaches Entrepreneurship through Acquisition at IE Business School (Spain) and developed the worlds first online course in this subject. Daniel Bleckmann brings over two decades of global executive experience in operations, private equity, and entrepreneurship to Newton Equity Partners. Having lived and worked across Europe, the US, and Latin America, he possesses a deeply cross-cultural perspective, is fluent in German, Spanish, Portuguese, English and conversant in Dutch and French. Throughout his career, Daniel has a proven track record of driving organic growth, executing M&A transactions, and scaling B2B platforms. Prior to joining NEP, he served as Managing Partner of investment boutique Master Minds Capital, where portfolio companies generated €125M in annual revenues. He also co-founded Brazilian fintech Capital Empreendedor, a SME lending marketplace, and acted as an investor and board member in the Search Fund space. His extensive background also includes a 14-year tenure at Lufthansa Cargo, where he rose to Regional Director for South America, the Caribbean, and Florida. Daniel’s blend of deep operational expertise and investment acumen provides invaluable strategic support for portfolio companies and searchers looking to scale acquisitions. He holds an MBA with Honors from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Fluent in three languages and with a career spanning three continents, she excels in diverse, dynamic, technology-driven environments. Vani has successfully led global talent selection initiatives and built high-performing recruitment, selection, and admissions teams at prestigious institutions such as IE Business School (Europe), Yale School of Management (USA), and the pan-African Business School at African Leadership University (Rwanda). Her expertise in talent management provides invaluable insights into NEP’s focus on sustainable growth and leadership excellence. Vani holds a bachelor in Economics and Statistics from the University of Exeter in the UK and a master of arts in International Relations from the Fletcher School at Tufts University in the US.

With a background in financial auditing and investment consulting across multiple sectors, Luis brings deep expertise in fund structuring, capital management, and investor relations. Holding undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration, as well as master’s degrees in Strategic Design, Quantitative Research and an Executive MBA in Strategy, Joachim combines academic excellence with practical expertise.
